Several folks have expressed interest in forming a group of Richmond County citizens who wish to share ideas and push for economic and cultural progress.
This group will:
(1) Create a common forum for people who have the potential and desire to create positive change in the community.
(2) Interact through a private Facebook group. “Private” so we can have constructive, even-handed discussions that weigh positives and negatives, with a goal of moving forward as opposed to just complaining.
(3) Meet together from time to time, on no particular schedule, to allow for good group conversation and, possibly, programs related to the community, new ideas, or personal/business development.
(4) Remain non-political and bury any old hatchets, recognizing that we need to work together to create a better future.
(5) Find synergies within the community and uncover opportunities we may not now recognize.
(6) Share articles and thoughts that pertain to personal, cultural and business development.
(7) ….and whatever else works towards the good of the community.
